Thangka Medicine Buddha first class quality, the thangka shows Bhaishajya Thathagata as medicine buddha.

Bhaisajya Thathagata - Medicine Buddha is said to dispense spiritual medicine when properly worshipped. He wears monastric robes and sits on a lion throne. He holds a bowl in the left hand having medicinal plant called arura or amla (phyllanthus emblia) and he holds a stem of arura in his right hand in Varada-Mudra (gesture of giving). His assistents are the two Bhodisattvas called Suryapralha und Candraprabha.

Before he got enlightment he did 12 vows, the importantst was to keep away all diseases from all human beings and to make them happy on her way to enlightment and to free them from all troubles.
