Tibetan trumpet - DungChen

The Tibetan trumpet called DungChen literaly means Dung = Horn, Chen = big. The long trumpet is used in the Tibetan monastries in their classical ceremonial music. Mostly the DungChen - Tibetan long trumpet is played at least from two monks often more. The small DungChen is often used as a special gift which got offered to the high Lama. The Tibetan Trumpet - DungChen exists in many sizes from 90 cm, 1,40 m, 1,80 m, 2,40 m, 3,00 m and 3,60 m. The Tibetan Trumpet is made out of copper. You can see the production on our movie. We offer the sizes 0,90 m, 1,80 m and 3,60 m all other sizes have to be ordered and will need 3 - 4 weeks time for production.
