Buddhist bell - Ghanta brass silverplated

 

The Ghanta is used in Buddhism for banishing all vices, protecting  and blessing and is a sign for wisdom. Its are ceremoial instrument and used in pujas as well as in prayers it is a symbol of transitoriness. It is held in the left hand during rituals, and it represents the femal principle of the universe. At our pictures is also the dorje to see, which is not a music instrument, but it belongs to the ghanta (femal principle) and symbolize the male principal. Nuns and monks usually cover thghanta and dorje after the ceremony or when they are on the road in Tibetan silk covers. Ghanta - bell 14 cm, 16 cm, 22 cm, in set with with dorje and brocade cover.
